Kimberly Sanchez, LMHC is co-owner of Kimina Counseling, LLC.

Kimberly earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Assumption College in 2009.

Kimberly Sanchez began her career working with adolescents in residential treatment programs and later expanded her focus to include adults and families. She transitioned to become the director of a community health clinic and clinical director of an intensive community-based acute treatment program.

Kimberly specializes in complex trauma and attachment related issues. She believes in a strength-based relational approach that reinforces therapy as a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore the underlying roots of their identified challenges and develop positive and effective strategies to cope.

Kimberly enjoys using humor with her clients and believes that all people are doing the best they can in any given moment with the skills they have; and that unconditional positive regard is the foundation of a healing relationship.

Kimberly Sanchez uses Attachment, Regulation, Competency (ARC), EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as primary treatment models.

Kimberly Sanchez has completed EMDRIA-approved basic training and is currently working on her EMDR certification.
